The Formalities: What We're About

This group is made for people who want to spread kindness around DeviantART, as well as give encouragement to other Deviants!

Rules!

Yeah I know rules are no fun but it must be done~!

No rudeness, degrading comments, etc. Hense the title of the group, this should be a happy place.

Submissions should promote some sort of kindness or happy setting. If references are needed as to what that might be, go ahead and look through the group's favorites.

Must obey DA rules, but that's a given.

Any art form is accepted! Drawings, literature, photography, sculptures, anything!

Enjoy yourself and never be afraid to start up a conversation with someone!

A Milestone Moment!

We have now reached 100 members not including the founders~! And we've only been a group for 3 months~

Thanks to everyone who has joined members as well as affiliates and I hope you're enjoying this group! I'd like to hear your opinions on if you think it's about time we held a contest or not? Let me know!

I've also been working on that playlist that I talked about a long time ago, any suggestions on songs that promote happiness and or kindness! Comments are good~!

Submission Rules

So, we need to have a little talk about submission rules, and luckily there aren't many!

For this club, as our one real submission guideline says under "rules" on our front page... "Submissions should promote some sort of kindness or happy setting. If references are needed as to what that might be, go ahead and look through the group's favorites."

This could be anything from kindness, to friendship, family, world peace... peace in general, nature (earth day? recycling even!), love, happiness, acceptance, good morals, life lessons (the good sort), etc... anything that really promotes a positive message or meaning.

If you wish to submit something that is along the lines of political, religious or anything controversial, please be careful not to put down anyone's views that may not be your own! C: Be warned, admins may read your artist comment! xD

If your submission is declined it's simply because an administrator didn't find your deviation to fit the club's guideline. Do not be upset by that though! If you feel a decline was a mistake on our part, please send a note in for inquiry or an explanation as to why your deviation should be accepted. We will review your message, and respond

This club is all about promoting kindness after all, we do not want to cheat anyone from promoting kindness!

I'm not really sure where else to turn with so little time.

A friend of mine here on dA is in a pretty bad way, and she could use all the kindness she could get.

Forgive me if it seems spammy, but if anybody has some extra points to spare to give charity commish's within the next two days, head on over and see my mate.

Is great with horses, she does really nice colour work, and she will do her best to draw anything you could ask of her--she appreciates any help she can get at the moment.

Bottom line is, she's stuck in Germany, dA is her only income source, and she has to foot a $450 bill in two days for a broken windshield.

To help, all you have to do is join #GiftsRNotAlwaysGood. It's a support group to convince the admins to change the policy to allow transfers.
